so someone went through whatever that is and i guess one part of it says that back in 2012, syria's entire internet went down, and everyone just said it was assad shutting it down because he was mad at protests and rebels or w/e, but actually it turns out it was the NSA trying to brute force into syria's main network hub and fucking up, at least according to edward snowden.

on a side note, i'm really tired of certain leftists shitting on Snowden for being a libertarian or trying to appear patriotic or w/e.

the worst is Mark Ames & co. accusing him of being a shill for Putin, which is enraging because Putin is one of the few things keeping him out of solitary confinement in the US.

i just had a Facebook Argument on this one. dude starts with "he should have stayed here and faced the charges like a Real Man" and I kid-you-not "I have friends who were discharged under DADT snowden should have followed their Honorable Example." i pointed out what happened to chelsey manning as standing for the preposition that only a stupid and insane person would do that, and that there was really nowhere else in the world willing and able to keep snowden from the US rape-cages.

so dude goes "he should have gone to iceland" lol
