Bagels from the reduced-to-clear rack (10cents each) with a miniscule scraping of Dollarama peanut butter ($1, may contain fibreglass)

I made veal scallopini the other day w. braised root vegetables. I used the leftover braising liquid w. a dash of sherry and the scrapings from the veal pan to make a sauce for the scallopini - everyone knows veal is a tasteless meat. it was foul but my wife liked it

NB it would have been pretty good had I not overcooked the veggies and oversalted everything

one thing I really hate about americans is their consumption of bagels for breakfast. bagels in general are terrible things, but when americans pretend that bagels constitute a proper breakfast it infuriates me to no end

anyway I had sardines on toast. I want to go out to buy some caviar and aspic but it's snowing now so

these threads arent fun here because i doubt anyone here will complain about the food poor people eat and insist that organic farmers markets accept etb cards like they did in forums of old

are you downvoting everyone who mentions bagels, you fuckpot?!?! I didn't PICK the bagels. Just as often it's kaiser rolls or cheese brioches or occasionally mini ciabatta things with olives embedded in them. They're all stale, and cost ten cents and have dollar store peanut butter on them. this is my life. fuck you

last night i had some chicken that i had sitting in a nice yogurt marinade for a day. it was a spiced yogurt, thinned out with some olive oil, with sumac and parsley and some other things i cant really remember, coriander and paprika i think. i browned it in a big fat cast iron skillet and finished it in the oven, served it on a piece of sesame flatbread doused in olive oil covered in fried onions and garlic. delicioso

today i had some fried chicken and fries at the school cafeteria and a coffee

You can buy them pre-seasoned online. This is a good set: http://www.amazon.com/Lodge-LCC3-Logic-Pre-Seasoned-Cooker/dp/B0009JKG9M/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1326404602&sr=8-3
