its possible https://bitbucket.org/ubernostrum/django-profiles/issue/10/user-names-cant-have-periods-etc#comment-502428 also read this was fixed in django 1.5.6 which dropped about two months ago.

I'm pretty sure tapespeed is ifapped for posting "jailbait" so I wouldn't release him under any circumstances but if you're really going to do it you should definitely check with joey or at least khamsek first.
