The Kidnapping of Michel Houllebecq

Ricky Lopez has been out of the major-league dope game for years. He spends his time shooting steroids and selling dime bags out of a basement on Chicago’s West Side. When a Houellebecq novel falls into his hands, he doesn’t like it. He responds in the only way he knows. Meanwhile, a shadowy literary connoisseur determines that Michel Houellebecq could create the world’s most perfect art. For that to happen, the famous author must be cast into the true domain of struggle: poverty and obscurity. Michel Houellebecq won’t take that lying down, even if he has to get out of bed.

Uh no, Chinatown/Bridgeport

in the Bridgeport/Pilsen area you need to be careful of arsenic and lead due to the fisk and crawford power plants nearby. It's good to use some other soil on top to be safe.

"The playground at the Bridgeport Homes, 844 W. 32nd St., was closed June 5 after testing by Peoples Gas found high levels of arsenic 3 feet below the surface of a 10-foot-square area, CHA spokesman Derek Hill said. After soil in that area was removed to a depth of 6 feet, further testing by the CHA completed last week found unacceptable levels of arsenic below the original contaminated area, he said."

a friend of mine ran into a problem recently with heavy metals in the soil while setting up a community garden in pilsen.

but then again, consuming lead is part of a noble classical tradition so i'm sure it's fine
