now that ukip has solidified all its positions on other issues is there even a constituency left for the liberal democrats, a party with basically all the same positions as ukip but pro-EU and pro-gay marriage and also old and boring? serious question

e: They have the Internet write their platform for them every year though,through a forum lol so we could all join and make them Communists. Sam?

nah libdems havent got similar positions to UKIP at all, UKIP are more right-wing than the tories, the libdems are for Liberals and middle class "lefties" who dont like trade unions

not rreally, the libdems are a product of the liberals plus the social democratic party, the 80s rightwing split from labour. they're all neoliberal of course, but in pretty different ways
