it's not very good. i don't know why but none of the paintings of leda really give rise to any sense of the erotic in its full dimensions of violence and isomorphy with death. maybe all those pre-modern painters were so excited to be able to paint an actual coital scene with a proper phallic symbol that they didn't bother to go beyond a crude sensuality. even cezanne's is pretty lacklustre & i usuually got a lot of love for him. maybe it's not really an image best suited to painting:

i saw Gondry's animation about chomsky and it was so bad and weird. just animations about baby chomsky's childhood and gondry not understanding anything he says

idk sophie phienes seemed to have a better grip on how to present a dude's ideas (and his clownish self)
