when he's waiting for what is ostensibly poutine to boil and puts on "Lili Marleen" and rhythmlessly taps on the countertop in his pile of filth and burns himself and yelps is my favorite moment of masao's. my significant other will also occasionally shriek "we have to make the banana melt" at me if I'm too slow with dinner, or when waking me up by beating me, or really at any possible opportunity.

what im thinking is that some objects, some materials, when they're exposed to heat, they go through the process of turning into liquid and turning into gas, but some others, for some reason, they travel to the future. if you take a sheet of paper, and you come back in a million years, you know, like, it's going to be all dark and disgusting, exactly like if you burned it.
