Perhaps black ppl are the true inheritors of leftism as it has been traditionally understood, which is increased support for social programs, labor power, and the rights of ethnic minorities, and the whites who have made nonsense about gay marriage their central issue are the ahistorical abberations

In order to attribute the problems of minorities to poverty and private discrimination, you have to downplay the importance of worse factors, like legal discrimination, eugenics and the drug war. You can't win, liberals.
