i will probably vote liberal in the next election here. the candidate is nice and he was narrowly defeated by the conservatives last time.

i sort of assume that this pro-israel talk is just hollow and perfunctory, and that increasingly american politicians will talk in breathless terms about israel but then frequently act in a way that annoys israel's leaders, like how obama recites the AIPAC line but is still despised by netanyahu.

bloomberg is "liberal on social issues" and "conservative on fiscal issues" which was just what the dr ordered after the 9/11 financial crash! also he outspent his opponent 5:1 and still only won by like 1% his first term
