yeah summer is brutal especially daytime in the outer boroughs when you can feel the tension and everyone is PISSED. at least in the winter the cold turns people into crying little babies instead of manic and insane

i went to disney world once for a trip and ended up sleeping in a display car somewhere at epcot for the better part of 14 total hours over four days

i was in florida once and fed a manatee in somebody's backyard waterway (i guess they all have them?) also i saw some old people and one time i rode a jetski

my earliest 'political' memory: wearing a flannel shirt skating up at the local park, my mum picked me up and told me princess di had been in a car crash and i laughed for some reason.

earliest non-political memory: going to a rolling stones concert as a 5 year old and having my dad point out that the smell coming from the people in front of us was 'marijuana'
