I had to turn it off cause of the flood of spam accounts, and the guy who was working on a fix is the OP so you can see how that turned out.

Note: I'm going to be working on this again

I forgot to mention this to you but people (including that spam guy) are managing to register accounts through the disable account reg, presumably with scripts. It might be better to just enable it in the meantime until there's a replacement and maybe worth fixing regardless.

The thing about the spam guy is that he's a social retard. If mustang had just annoyed people in legit ways instead of pushing it to critical mass and thereby getting perma-ifapped, then proceeding to reg a shitload of spam accounts, he would have just been another IWC or superabound. Guy is just straight up bad at trolling and does it brute force instead of with subtlety, it's like comparing the average hacker-griefer to phoon.

I still don't understand why people like EO show up at this site to do nothing but complain about other posters. Never say anything funny or about the topics ppl are discussing, just really tedious complaints. Why even show up?

GBS2.1 is honestly a better place to accomplish this, anyway. just go into every thread and post the :gas: emote.

you need be neither an alarmist nor ignorant, just be a cautious and responsible interpreter of the information available to you...

i would love to but the information is hard to judge responsibly when it's changing or warping all the time: 'oh um the heat is actually in the ocean now, did we not mention that? No? well it is'

if there was ever any evidence that IWC is actually as reactionary as he "pretends" to be, this is it

#148
guys i just want to stimulate honest debate, the science isnt settled, the models aren't perfect, lets not get too drastic here, its only the only environment that humankind will be able to live in most likely ever so we shouldn't get too gung ho about changing out comfy lifestyles if it turns out they're going to destroy our future. the worst thing possible would be to devalue our "traditional" society

ok dawg you keep living in your fantasy Science-is-Infallible fantasy world but don't start whining and crying when you finally realize the true Neoliberal destructive agenda of 'Climate Change'.
