Well shit. How could they think this is a good idea? How could anyone think privatisation of natural resources is a good idea? Oh, these smart people will make it profitable! Yeah, for them! That's mean everyone is getting fucked in some way, from the workers getting paid less, or the consumer paying more. That's the only efficiencies that exist you goddamn idiots!

it's really sad that since Mexico already privatized and deregulated everything else in their economy an argument can be made that all that oil revenue is just being used to repress the masses and enforce neo-liberalism anyways.

uhh, i recently paid under $3/gallon for gas, so im assuming its already happened
