i bought a copy of a big canadian left magazine called "the walrus" and the first few pages are ads for energy conglomerates and luxury cars. now, while i support chasing that dollar, it made me remember that liberals are terrible.
#44
i signed up for a free subscription to Maxim magazine thru SA over 10 years ago and they wont stop sending them to my parents house
#45
there is a full-page ad in the walrus promoting oilsands development

originally i was open to foreign media but the more i looked into it the more despicable and repugnant it became to me, and the more i knew i'd have to get real canadian content that would speak to my national character. i apologize if it ruined your posting experience.

i thought about subscribing to the PSL's newspaper but it's not very relevant to my life. like 90% of the articles are like "Support the Striking Workers of Gary's Auto Detailing in Kansas City! Down with the 1%" and like "Sam Marcy: Genius? Yes."

listen to black agenda radio

then as you're listening, type up a transcript, print it, and bind it into a zine
#65
you should start a toronto review of books imo.

getfiscal my true advice is to realize your talent and wit and write your own very-low-budget periodical, tapping other regular writers at the zzone such as khamsek and deadken who like and respect you, I will pay money for it

because the formation of a journal is not to be taken so lightly. it is not a "beginner's activity". it must be entered into only by a learned scribe of a great philosopher, who has studied the classics in detail and is merely offering a commentary more relevant to the minor changes that history has presented itself.

getfiscal i would rank you about a peter of auvergne

lest we forget, His Holiness Pius II while still a layman wrote not only commentaries and poetry, but a lurid erotic novel. Can we do any less

i'm tempted to say "american magazines arent worth the paper they're printed on", but when i think about it i remember that i wipe my ass with pages from The Atlantic when i run out of toilet paper and it works way worse than regular paper because its all glossy and crap, so its probably more correct to say that theyre worth less than the paper they're printed on
#78
