I know things are looking up for the teamsters in utah. mainly the clusterfuck of healthcare. one small business owner in an article I read said "I didn't resist the union at all because now they have to take care of healthcare and I don't"

if i start a sole-proprietorship business is it possible to unionize myself as a self-employed person. i'd do that. make contracts with myself and such. the catch would be that i wouldn't tolerate union bullshit from my employees and i wouldn't want my clients to know i was involved in left-wing junk.

IWW won't let me unionize because i have hiring/firing power. yet another reason that shitty faux-union deserves to completely die.
