Look, other internet white, your rap appreciation is the wrong rap appreciation, and I, masami akita, purveyor of middlebrow collaborative noise, am the one to correct it, via collaborative name drops

Dog named MAO huh?
interestingly enough (but not really), Māo (猫), with an even tone, is mandarin for "cat," while Máo (毛), with the rising tone, is the name of the Chairman. so if you were speaking mandarin and used the wrong inflection on the word, you might accidentally say "chairman cat" instead of "chairman mao"
likewise, posting chinese words/names without the accentuation leaves the distinction ambiguous. so lazily posting "mao" opens up plenty of room for cat double entendres

it would be cool to meet someone who plays a sitar and find we have a deep soulful connection and produce amazing improvisational duets and uhhh then maybe we can meet a drummer who, you know, we like and all but probably they can't really appreciate how deep our connection is, sorry, the drummer is kind of a third wheel, i know it's not really fair but that's how it is
do you like gucci mane roseweird. do you like this song
