This is one of those near perfect albums that comes along only once or twice every few years, and in my opinion it's better than Disintegration. It's the Cure's fourth album, released back in 1982, and the culmination of their steadily improving and increasingly dark early stream of output. It's great when you're feeling a little grim and want to go slightly demon (maybe half demon). Robert Smith's voice echoes hauntingly as he applies his trademark wail to phrases like I will never be clean again, repeated forebodingly in the track above. To listen to the whole album, starting with the tangibly demonic opening riff and the pronouncement of Smith's first words, It doesn't matter if we all die, click here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_An4N8wHkUY

I know but let's not focus on what it's not.

haha this song is schizophrenic
Faith is also really good, and also slightly demon. But I think the difference is, Pornography is aggressive and lustful demon, while Faith is brooding demon. Two different modes of demon, one passive where the other is active, and I think certainly the more active comes closer to going full demon.

was there a twitter hashtag or something recently that explains the seeming resurgence of this term as applied to music??
