i upvote good effort posts, but i also automatically upvote any post that makes me laugh (inside), even if its really dumb and lazy, which things that make me laugh usually are. also sometimes i randomly upvote posts for no reason, to destabilize the posting economy

tbqh it almost seems crass to indicate the quality of a good commie effortpost with something as disgustingly capitalist and democratic as voluntary voting

there's something wrong with modern internet leftists. everyone has to have a blog that 5 people read. if you go on reddit communism it's all people linking to their own blog with no responses. now we have discipline and deadken linking their own blog and various posters linking their twitter. never made much sense to me, even mccain's blog peaked in attention when Andrew Kliman who googles his own name every day and found it, only to trash it and mccain. is it the hope of being famous, or thinking that your thoughts on syria are way more important than everyone else's in the world? i know ppl are complaining about upvotes, but who rly cares about attention. was lf better when 90% of posters were dumb liberals and an "effortpost" which was a wikipedia summary of the Mau Mau conflict with some bad words thrown in would get praised?
