brown moses is not a weapons expert. his research methodology is Youtube, Wikipedia, and Jane's. he has no military or weapons experience whatsoever. he has never been in the same room as one of these weapons. he has no relevant credentials from any government, contractor, NGO, university, or journalistic organization. he's never been to Syria or anywhere in the middle east, certainly has never been to the site of the attack, can't speak Arabic, and has probably never held a firearm in his life. now he's being used as an authoritative source to make the case for war. what the fuck

brown moses is a British nerd with no military or law enforcement background. it's likely that this "weapons expert" has never personally seen a weapon more deadly than a nerf pistol used in his life.
#6
what about the cigar and umbrella guns he sees regularly at langley

or blechhinghamfordshire park or wherever MI6 is

imo it's an excellent take-down of capitalistic white privilege credentialism.

"Brown Moses is among the best out there when it comes to weapons monitoring in Syria," said Peter Bouckaert, emergencies director at Human Rights Watch. New York Times war reporter CJ Chivers said that fellow journalists should be more honest about the debt they owe to Higgins' Brown Moses blog. "Many people, whether they admit or not, have been relying on that blog's daily labour to cull the uncountable videos that circulate from the conflict," he said. Amnesty International said that the Brown Moses Blog was vital in proving the Syrian regime was using ballistic missiles, information then used to send a research mission to Syria.

So all the US government puppet NGOs are touting him as the best thing since Jewish rye.

CNN would happily use tweets, blogs or tumblr gif collections if it allows them to push the agenda of the week

also, why brown moses, was there ever a white moses

""Before the Arab spring I knew no more about weapons that the average Xbox owner. I had no knowledge beyond what I'd learned from Arnold Schwarzenegger and Rambo."

so he's the opposite of your typical D&D poster but he gets more air time
