my parents have not shared a bed together for literally 100% of my conscious existence, which i suspect has permanently damaged my ability to form healthy relationships and has left me inimical to nuclear power to this day

my Mother always slept on the living room couch and is the worlds lightest sleeper. most of my teenage nights were spent learning how to evade her poorly play-tested detection cones. i still get nightmares of giant !s suddenly appearing over her head

A proponent of nuclear power might respond that those reactors get maintained past their expiration date because of the excessive cost of constructing new plants, due, again, to excessive regulation.
