because as good liberals we understand that we gain valuable social capital and self-affirment from mocking or deconstructing some socially produced expressions of crassness, insularity and selfishness, These have to be chosen carefully however, as acknowledging similar phenomenon in other contexts does not assist us in our social location.

Our theories and assumptions are a very carefully constructed house of cards, built upon shifting rhetorical and political foundations that have to be constantly tweaked and propped up. It requires the height and prominence from which we can pontificate and make our presence known to the neighbours, while still containing an ever growing number of panic rooms into which we can retreat when hurricanes of conviction or irrationality start bearing down upon us.

How can we keep those panic rooms safe and guarded if you start running your mouth about how person A being rude is largely equivalent to persons B, C or D being rude, do you even realize what these walls are made from? This problematic universality of yours, these comparisons of broad human behaviors as if there are lessons to be learnt from some space 'above' or 'outside' political theory, is deeply reactionary and incredibly irresponsible.

this is some serious goon shit man

i'm moving from a place where the conservatives got 3.52% of the vote in 2011 to a place where the conservatives got 53.83% of the vote in 2011. since i have a white petty-bourgeois background i'll fit in perfectly.

Talking about New York is fairly boring and terrible by its self but if you let it go unchecked for too long they'll start talking about this little hole in the wall on 1,109th street that has the best chinese food in the city, oh yeah? Have you been to Carls Tapas and Egg Rolls the fusion place on 831st ave? Nice yeah but personally there's this cart out front of where the insane slime ppl continually dress like its sienfield in 2013 that has this non fried vegan fried rice thats just great.

the only thing i dislike about rural living in america is the utter lack of any chinese food of decent quality

Yesterday I realized my dogwalking shorts, my only pair of shorts, were getting so filthy that I should probably wear something else, so I considered cutting my only pair of pants down to shorts, but eventually decided on washing my dogwalking shorts in the shower. lmao

A canine career would be like, grabbing dead ducks or licking toes for a living, but I see what you mean. This is not a financial issue, its that I hate to break in a new pair of shorts. Hate to see them suffer and see their spirit shatter under the yoke of my thighs. Gets me every dang time.

i'm just saying that pants are like three dollars at the goodwill, go buy some pants you weirdo
#112
at goodwill they stopwatch severely disabled employees to see how long they take to perform tasks and then compare it to what a healthy real human being takes and then pay them a proportionally lower amount.
#113
shoplift the pants then. just get some pants. pants are important
#114
pants by any means necessary
#115
Ha ha ha yeah you're trying to tell a devoted lfer what pants cost I think he knows what pants cost, several thousand dollars. Go with god.
