i read all the zizek ive read in udnergrad and even then i was surrounded by people reminding me that this guy just writes down whatever he feels and has reached a level of success by doing that which allows him to put even less thought into it

at a bar the comparison was drawn by a scholar who should know better than to shoot his mouth off between zizek and a vice president of etc. who puts his feet up on his desk and gives underlings thirty minute talks about "the business" b/c his further ambitions have been squashed by his superiors
