this is probably a great thing, right? I mean we've all been using chrome's 'porn mode' to secretly plot the revolution away from the man's prying, but have been unable to link up with 'the wider movement' (not sure what this is but ppl say it a lot so it sounds legit). until now. this should be the catalyst we needed to finally get people to stop using the internet and start smashing the state

they already made that movie sorry bro

FDR and Tuck soon discover that they are seeing the same woman and decide not to tell her that they know each other, not to interfere with each other's dates, and not to have sex with her, letting her instead come to a decision between them. They soon break their rules and use CIA technology and assets to spy on her, discover her preferences, and sabotage each other's chances with her. FDR and Lauren eventually have sex. Tuck and Lauren nearly have sex but she decides against it, feeling bad about sleeping with two men. However, since Tuck sabotages FDR's surveillance devices in her apartment, FDR is convinced that Tuck and Lauren did have sex.

it already is...
roseweird posted:no
Why not? Are you afraid of some dark grey police state like how people talk about the GDR and USSR? But I don't think anyone really gives a shit about eavesdropping. This is happening now, and nobody cares. Oh, maybe some clowns in patriot hats are whining about it, but they weren't whining when Bush was in office. I guess an ideologue like Glenn intellectually cares about it, but so what? This really doesn't matter to anyone. Why wouldn't you exploit such tools to defend the revolution? I'd say I may oppose this happening now, but only because it's not being done for a just cause... otherwise...
In that sense, I think Paulo Freire would agree that a socialist state using these tactics to prevent reactionaries is justified.

the 80s nightclub (note the lack of plural on 'nightclub'. emphasis added)
title doesnt imply multiple nightclubs but rather the opposite.

On the other hand I kind of expected other people here to have philosophical problems with this kind of thing in general but so far only roseweird has posted two letters of objection and that's all we've got
