technically i think that the myths of ancient syria were the first abrahamic religion because the story of abraham predates judaism

you're probably correct but really my phrasing is a bit off, i kind of meant 'from the ones still currently practiced'. as the first paragraph implied i was looking to discuss the claims of the current jewish orthodoxy for having the 'longest lasting tradition'.
