judaism proper did not exist until the first millennium, during which it formed as a basically imperialist and patriarchal movement that destroyed many surrounding forms of canaanite religion (cults of baal, anat, asherah, ashtaroth) associated with the multicultural semitic tribes of the region, there is no mention of israel in history until an egyptian pharaoh brags about having pillaged some levantine tribe by this name in 1200 BC. there are 2000 years of religious history in egypt and mesopotamia and china prior to these developments, not to mention extensive inferences from preliterate archaeology elsewhere.
The historical record is really patchy at that point though, for example nobody knows much about Noah or the religions which influenced him other than that they borrowed a few things from the Babylonians.
Anyway this thread was a qualified success, I've laid bare Rhizzone's pro-Western cultural chauvinism and I'm still able to post.
i guess the preferred lager
i actually had no idea, i have just never heard this word. what do you mean, ruse or deception? do you mean the scrolls at nag hammadi? not my specialty but i have read a little about these, they make historical sense to me. the bible is a collection of writings collected into a book between 0 and 200 CE. of course there were other collections in existence at the time. they offer helpful context for understanding early christianity, gnosticism, and wisdom literature
I've honestly never read any of that, my entire ideology was formed from a Capitalism.org article "The Clueless Left And Islam". My apparent facade of addiction to Islamic literature came from having ten wikipedia tabs open at all times.
Hopefully someday you'll get a business and be a Conscious Capitalist.

I actually typed in "all those ancient religious scrolls could just have been elaborate dildoes" and Mozilla autocorrected to dido.

I'm still ten thousand times more in touch with reality than people who think Mohammed was some kind of liberal.

i hate to tell you this but the only person who ever cared enough about Islam to worry about which side of the American political spectrum Mohammed would have found himself on stopped posting here a long time ago

One of LF's defining characteristics is its amount of white adult converts to Islam with a guilty conscience who struggle to reconcile it with Western liberal conceptions such as leftism and feminism. Some try Rashidun Caliphate romanticism, blame backwardness on Arab culture, others align themselves with anti-imperialism and try to wish away everything else.
Chears.
