I would think an LFer would have hit a more symbolic target like a bank or corporate office park. I don't know if we will get real reasoning at this point, since this guy is really doesn't look like a professional or anyone with connections and there isn't too much of a direct political message. I guess the most reliable answer is just aimless paranoia inspired violence.


Well the LFer who actually does do something isn't going to be the people who post all day while in college or while holding down a good job, it's going to be that one fringe nutter who read all that trolling and took it seriously as a manifesto. Anyway, I'm fucking around. Chances are, yeah, he's just another unfortunately fucked up kid who then turned into a despicable (attempted-?)mass murderer. For those just joining us.

- About 5 hours ago a shooting occured on MIT Campus
- People started listening to the BPD police scanner.
- Officers were talking about a 7-11 robbery earlier where a gun was shown.
- Officer confirmed down at MIT campus, officer made it to hospital but has died.
- Reported Mercedes SUV hijacking, victim escaped and gave description to police
- Descriptions matched marathon bombers

- Police began to pursue the SUV not fully knowing who they were chasing
- The bombers began to fire upon the pursuing police, rifles and grenades
- They ended up in a residential neighbourhood, multiple firefights
- Scanner lit up as officers began screaming they were under attack
- The bombers had automatic weapons, grenades, explosives
- One of the bombers (The tall one) was shot multiple times, run over
- Supposedly detonated an explosive device on himself, was pronounced DOA at Beth Israel

- White Cap from the FBI photos confirmed to have fled on foot
- Massive manhunt is ensuing
- White cap may (not) be Sunil, the missing Brown Uni student, this is confirmed by police radio chatter ONLY, no other verification
- AP, NBC, MSNBC reporting Chechen brothers are the bombers/shooters, unrelated to Sunil


- A perimeter has been set up around the area where he is believed to be
- MTBA, ferry shut down
- FBI tracking with multiple SWAT teams
- National Guard deployed
- multiple explosive devices being detonated around Boston area now by EOD teams
