this actually happened. i lived in that province when it did.
alberta provincial politics are so irrelevant that he pioneered the practice of not even really having a parliament, since we have one party rule. they just occasionally met to rubber stamp things. ralph was a pioneer - this is now how the federal parliament works as well. rip, asshole.
