Oscars Trivia Question: This film, nominated for Best Motion Picture, is about people who have been oppressed by white Americans and have since learned to fight back, which causes a controversy. Bonus hint: Many of the main roles are played by white Americans.
(Answer: If you said Argo, or Zero Dark Thirty, or Django Unchained, or Lincoln, you were correct.)

as long as obama's president it's ok. the torture scenes which would make bush blush are cool, we have a BLACK president
argo - liberals
zdt - amerikkka
django- liberals (white guilt division)
life of pi - christhavers
licoln - jews
argo - actually based on something called the "canadian caper", because in real life the canadians actually did all the hard work. the former canadian ambassador is actually caremad about this because he thinks canada deserves credit for saving americans from bloodthirsty muslims. he asked ben affleck to talk about it at the podium instead of crying and admitting he's always loved matt damon.
life of pi: i think the author of the book is canadian.
zero dark thirty: osama bin laden, famous for the 1998 bombing of the USS Cole, was born in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.
U.S. Senator John McCain, who was tortured during his time as a prisoner of war in North Vietnam, said upon watching the film that it left him sick – "because it's wrong." In a speech in the Senate, he said, "Not only did the use of enhanced interrogation techniques on Khalid Sheikh Mohammed not provide us with key leads on bin Laden's courier, Abu Ahmed, it actually produced false and misleading information."
McCain would have been a better, less monstrous president than Barack Obama.

actually he might not have surrendered in iraq and he wouldn't have passed obamacare.
"I heard through the grapevine that women played a big role in the CIA in general and in this team. I heard that a woman was there on the night of the raid as one of the CIA's liaison officers on the ground – and that was the start of it." He then turned up stories about a young case officer who was recruited out of college, who had spent her entire career chasing bin Laden. Maya's tough-minded, monomaniacal persona, Boal said, is "based on a real person, but she also represents the work of a lot of other women."
