The single biggest surprise is finding out that "rock music" is still popular and played all the time here. i knew america was regressive in lots of ways but its still pretty unsettling to get in a cab and here a NEW three doors down song on the radio.

My wife changed her name to DJ rashad so I would flip the fucj out and start flinging every extremity around at 900mph and break my ankles whenever she started playing at a party.

your on unsteady ground icw the whole americans can't dance/drink/have fun/do music lark is only just being found out by actual americans and its a bit sore

also if you dont at least attempt to be moving something like that video then you dont get dance music at all
#303
Well im not trying to be a cultural chauvinist (the general attitude to nightlife here seems a bit cooler than sydney), im simply stating that american white men in particular dont know how to dance to electronic music which is their new thing. Just look at the smirks and put downs im getting from americans here who think letting oneself go is lame rather than just feeling it. Most likely this stems from the obvious massive sexual neuroses amongsy such a demographic, also manifested by the fact that the vast majority of urinal rows here hzve dividers between each one, something very uncommon in any other country ive been to.

electronic music and dance is just one massive argument in favour of academic and social reform. bring back the agoge, bring down the hammer with musical regulation ala xunzi, uplift the citizenry and create a better state

actually australia is making a lot of "rock music" these days that is considered quite "hip" in certain american "circles".
