2) dn't be dishonest comparing dc to palestine
3) you live in a country that has this city that has great racial and income disparity/ghettoization. you're right about dc but thats not less true just because youre 200 miles away.
4) if you get a cheap place here youre probably living among the minorities and you ride next to them on the trains/buses and you're not part of the disparity problem you're part of the gentrification problem, just like in nyc.
