I am definitely not voting, I got better things to do. 'Withdraw from their political terrain' and all that. They're gonna replace the politicians with technocrats probably, like they did in Europa

withdraw from the political terrain right into a north dakota militia imo. learn a skill or two!
how long are the backwoods survivalists going to hold out after the supply chains break down and they can't drive to costco to stock up on batteries and ammo

yea, definitely, no use putting faith in the signifier 'democracy' when we gotta put faith in Ourselves!

i got nothing better to do on election day in all honesty and im under no delusions as to how ineffectual it is, so may as well vote for all the PSL/peace&freedom candidates and call it a day; it's essentially the equivalent to withdrawing from their political terrain

I like the big sticker i get when I vote, I like to put it on my jacket and walk around where other people can see me. I feel like a citizen, like an adult. I think people who don't vote should be forced to live in habitrail slums of mcdonald's playscape tubes & sewer pipes and this should funnel them all towards a giant hamster wheel they can run on until they learn the value of voting.
you also get a free starbucks coffee. everything's coming up roses! {on voting day}
noam chomsky should run to be the libertarian candidate for president.
also one of the best troll things was that in a number of elections liberals would win a majority without winning many seats out west so the west would see the results come in of like 100 Liberal MPs in ontario when there were 103 seats there (seriously) and be like fuuuuuuuck i guess our overwhelming majority of conservative nutbars will be irrelevant once again. don't worry happy ending the conservative nutbars took over the country once ontario decided to shift to them.

hahah nader is the most irrelevant dude in every way
the funny part is that he still placed third in 2008 but no one cared. like he got over 700 thousand votes.
ron paul received more votes as a protest write-in than all the socialist (SWP, SPUSA, PSL) candidates combined.

nader is awesome. as a consumer advocate he did a great job showing us what a shitty product american democracy is.
