stop trolling
The new one is better I have to admit, on the first cover the naked lady looks weird and out of proportion.
i don't like the way the new cover evokes violence against women. it casts an uncomfortable shadow over an otherwise upbeat work
the print version is getting a new cover too

This book is a mass of contradictions message wise but at the same time a curiously interesting read. If you can see past the constant pretentious diatribes constantly referenced from the likes of pseudo philosophers and intellectuals like Liminov and Zizek there is a good story here. The characterisation of April and John is an accurate portrait of two young apolitical vacuous material hedonists who have no meaning in their lives 'til they find each other briefly. You're not meant to like them as they don't even like themselves. The character of Mel allows you to feel a little more optimistic towards Human nature in a world largely populated by not very nice people. The frequent pornographic descriptions of sexual acts are titillating but it feels like they are glorifying the very thing they're trying to debase or condemn. I'm suspicious that more f*** than destroy in this book secures more sales than not but you can't blame the author for that, we all have to earn a living, well some of us anyway, look at Avril/April.
