toronto has a hungarian-thai place that sells hungarian food and thai food and i think some fusion food. don't see that kind of innovation happen in socialist countries.

Mind you if it was changed to "liveability if you're poor" i don't think it would change things that much. A couple of Australian cities would drop off in favour of Scandinavian capitals i guess.

Agreed, it was the first "liveability" ranking i searched for and i guess they're skewed towards that because the sort of people who are interested in the liveability of a city are rich people who have opportunities to move there.
