My arm candy will probably be named Natalia and she will have a PhD in english literature from Moscow State University. She always wanted to model but her family refused to let her because it would interrupt her studies. She was married once to an oligarch but she had him killed and inherited all his money. Now she just wants to have long conversations about radical politics and lounge around in vodka bars.

frats and sororities are unfairly maligned attempts to recreate close-knit communities of the same scale and communal structure as a neolithic tribe or pre-modern village. our most successful young people are drawn to a shelter from the faceless city and the relentless commoditization of all aspects of post-industrial society, and yet we malign them as classist, sexist, backward! a shame.

Hey that's exactly what I was going to post! Where's my friend Anthony when I need him to explain something. Obv they didn't set out to make that film, but that's what it is.

The questions that the film should provoke are something like, "are we better off under the rule of these maladaptive deranged people? Wasn't the bland paternalism better than this chaotic cruelty? "
