pornography isn't wrong because the industry exploits people. all industries exploit people, the porn industry just does it in a uniquely degrading way. it's wrong because pornography teaches teenagers about sex and eroticism. in a communist utopia, all masturbation fodder would be produced by the state to stringent standards, with the cast selected from the general population by random lottery, the foreplay punctuated by frank conversations about boundaries and consent, and actual story arcs about handling common sexual dysfunctions and diseases.

Theory: Radical feminism is social conservatism in a new dress.

Evidence: Transphobia, erasure of male rape victimization, consideration of the female sex/gender as being supremely, intrinsically different from the male sex/gender, belief that women cannot truly consent to sex in situations where they are acting as informed adults with a full and complete understanding of the situation, opposition to pornography, etc.

goatstein is right. iirc during the time of Louis XIV there was about 25,000 pieces of violent pornography produced in France per year. if you put that in todays terms that would be about 75,000 pieces of violent pornography per year. But incredibly France only produced 5 pieces of violent pornography in the year 2011.
It is also worth mentioning that we have far better technology and bondage equipment than they did back in the day. Also according to my research people pee a lot more nowadays so its astounding to me that we could get these type of numbers.

Note that I separate out pornography from the infantilization of sex workers because not all pornography involves sex workers, e.g. hentai, erotica, etc.
