took the old ball and chain to six flags and red lobster for her birthday. ate 4 bowls of shrimp. here's my review:
- alfredo shrimp: the sauce split so it was curds and butter. sauce also wasn't salted. 4/5 parrots
- hand-breaded shrimp: you could just pound these, 1 2 3. 5/5 parrots
- scampi shrimp: flavor was okay but the sauce (garlic butter? unclear) got in my beard. had to smell it (nauseating) on the drive home. 2/5 parrots
- the red lobster dining experience: very busy and the endless shrimp promotion requires constant waitstaff attention, because, "refills" are dinky and they put them in the kitchen queue only after youve finished your prior. the person eating the normal meal has to sit and wait for you to finish your gimmick meal. at around $20 for 2000 calories it meets my eating out standard of a penny per calorie. it's been 16 hours and i still feel it.

It's a deliberate inefficiency that's been part of the promotion for at least the last 10 years cause you gluttonous assholes would bankrupt Darden and destroy entire ecosystems within a year's time otherwise.
