Canadians are basically americans and don't understand that we aren't in the US and all have health care etc so this is probably accurate also for the US

Researchers in Israel have discovered a pheremone in female tears that lowers testosterone in men. Noam Sobel, of the Weizmann Institute of Science ,stated in a blind study that female tears lowered testosterone in test subjects significantly more than a control substance. The scientists theorize that lowered testosterone would have the effect of making males less aggressive and also less sexually aroused, sort of a built in “Do Not Disturb” sign.
