Keven is trying to land a high profile job with SNL. They need to show that they can be full of anticommunist hate without any prompting. Once they actually get onto the writing staff, they'll smuggle quotes from Mao into the fart sketches, radicalizing the masses.

Keven is not as funny as he used to be, so he uses the downvote button to express his views instead. he is getting on in life, and it saves time and, more importantly, energy.

seriously though downvoting isn't some inherently bad thing. it takes a lot of effort to actually make someone downvote you. it incites posting. keep it up
