bail for a keystone* killer kop charged w 1st degree murder for shooting a man to death while his victim was running away after chasing him for no reason: $25000

bail for protester who broke some windows & started a small fire at city hall because of anger and frustration w abusive racist police: $775000

elaboration: cop was on juvenile task force, told to watch out for a stolen car. he sees a similar car, which yields right-of-way to him at a 4-way stop. v sus, so he circles around to read the license plate number... car isn't stolen. in his own words he starts following the car to figure out an excuse to pull it over. he loses track of the car, but sees a different car of the same color in a parking lot. he pulls up, someone jumps out and runs away. he starts to run after them, stops, and opens fire

the "roving gangs of white supremacists" narrative has an important social control function, it tells people that the only thing protecting them white supremacist terror is a functioning liberal-democratic state. the comprador position is that white supremacist terror is inevitable, we might as well have it in police uniforms, judges robes, and in suits so we can apply moderate legal pressure to reforming aspects of it. the radical position is that the only terror that is inevitable is when the oppressed rise up.

During the June days all classes and parties had united in the party of Order against the proletarian class as the party of anarchy, of socialism, of communism. They had “saved” society from “the enemies of society.” They had given out the watchwords of the old society, “property, family, religion, order,” to their army as passwords and had proclaimed to the counterrevolutionary crusaders: “In this sign thou shalt conquer!” From that moment, as soon as one of the numerous parties which gathered under this sign against the June insurgents seeks to hold the revolutionary battlefield in its own class interest, it goes down before the cry: “property, family, religion, order.” Society is saved just as often as the circle of its rulers contracts, as a more exclusive interest is maintained against a wider one. Every demand of the simplest bourgeois financial reform, of the most ordinary liberalism, of the most formal republicanism, of the most shallow democracy, is simultaneously castigated as an “attempt on society” and stigmatized as “socialism.” And finally the high priests of “religion and order” themselves are driven with kicks from their Pythian tripods, hauled out of their beds in the darkness of night, put in prison vans, thrown into dungeons or sent into exile; their temple is razed to the ground, their mouths are sealed, their pens broken, their law torn to pieces in the name of religion, of property, of the family, of order. Bourgeois fanatics for order are shot down on their balconies by mobs of drunken soldiers, their domestic sanctuaries profaned, their houses bombarded for amusement – in the name of property, of the family, of religion, and of order. Finally, the scum of bourgeois society forms the holy phalanx of order and the hero Crapulinski installs himself in the Tuileries as the “savior of society.”

It's not so much that the fascist dogs aren't barking, but what's happening isn't getting attention because its boring compared to a riot. The groundwork is being done to prepare the fascist militias for their entry. There was probably a lot of disappointment that no one answered trumps call to surround the white house with white supremacists, but a lot of them are also probably already working in police forces or national guard anyway. Lots of the ones who aren't, probably got to town and looked around and saw they were outnumbered 2000:1 on the ground and there was no actual way to bring assault rifles onto the white house grounds, much less through a crowd of thousands, and went to do something else.

Most of the 2nd amendment worshippers live in suburbs or deep rural areas, and they're largely hanging out there because they're getting spammed with messages on facebook and nextdoor and wherever that type hangs out that Aunt Teefa is going to invade their small towns and loot the craft shop and antiques store on main street.

There are armed white mobs patrolling certain neighborhoods in large cities with police blessing. Bootlicks and sympathizers are taking to the rooftops with rifles to defend the Property Rights of their local gamestop. A friend said in his small town there was a rumor that antifa was coming in white vans to riot and 300 locals went to the police station with guns to stand around and defend liberty or whatever.

They go have copaganda hug sessions with the 'burb pigs. They form white mobs even more intent on tracking and reporting any "suspicious" melanin invading their holy white places than usual, and now feel more empowered to escalate to vigilantism. The copaganda they see with their own lying eyes contrasts with the messages and images of brutality from the cities, so they whitely assume the problem is with reality and not their limited perception of it.

The end goal being that if the large cities defund the police, their fired pigs will either go on a rampage knowing they can do so "safely" since there is no more police force to stop "crime" or they go get jobs in the scared suburbs and balkanise the metro areas into decaying urban wastelands and white suburban fortresses. Since there is no apparent organization in the mob (due to decades of pig and trot infiltration and murder) there isn't really a need for irregulars yet, the police and guard are still holding the line.

I think if there are any covert leaders on either side, everyone is trying to see how attrition from Corona and the pigs working nonstop will play out. There are a few sparks like in STL, Oakland of course didnt wait for shit and charcuteried a fed night 1, Brooklyn had a lot of gunfire last night. Nothing is catching but it's building. Supposedly a shitload of gun stores got pillaged in Birmingham but it hasnt turned into anything, yet. Hard to say if its the people or the fash getting ready or just opportunism. Anywhere else the shootings of the past week would be a big flashpoint but americans don't care about human life and kill so many people on a "good" day that it's still just a blip nationally.

pigs just knocked out an old white guy for standing on the pavement. possibly killed him - he was bleeding profusely and completely gone. throw in them spending the last week indiscriminately firing on news anchors and arresting legal observers without charge, the pigs have violated the unspoken compact with the booj, that unless they are mentally ill, gay, or a drug addict, you *do not* fuck with the white middle- and upper-classes.

A leftist group has started tabling at the George Floyd memorial in MN, which seems insensitive when there's other places to do that kind of thing.

They're voting on dismantling the Minneapolis police today. I think that's very cool, but I do hope officials are keeping in mind the lessons of 2003 and the results of dissolving Saddam's Republican Guard while they do so.

idk why people are pointing to settler communities and calling them stupid for signalling their position clearly and emphatically on one side of the class divide. they're no "stupider" than the average ivy league graduate or google developer.

their motivations are crystal clear and decidedly non-stupid: rallying round the flag to defend carl's autoparts from even the slightest hint of a threat to their amerikkkan life. this is perfectly normal behavior for their settler-garrison class. the super-structure veneer or whatever thats pasted over it might be gbs-tier, but the base driver is powerful, practiced and enshrined in a hundreds of years of amerikkkan tradition. they are not political morons, they're highly politically aware.

More papers. First up is the FRSO paper which I like and has an article on a demonstration in Laredo organized by NAARPR, quoting the defensive group organized to prevent racist terror of the kind that happened in El Paso last year:

Next is Workers World:

Now here's an article in the CPUSA paper on Trump's military maneuvers, which gets stronger as it goes, but it has a lot of problems and flubs its lede with clunky, hedging language. The first sentence is a question? (Answer the damn question!) Trump's actions are "ominous hints" that "suggest" a fascist danger. He "sounded" like a dictator. IMO what he says matters less than what he does. "In a lot of Black communities, martial law has effectively been the reality for years, even decades." It's not "effectively" the reality, it is the reality, and it goes back further than decades.

Now it's time for Struggle / La Lucha, the paper of the Socialist Unity Party, a pretty new org that participates in NAARPR. One article on their website is a reprint of a statement by the Nepal Workers Peasants Party, which follows the Juche idea and has held power for 30 years in Bhaktapur, a UNESCO World Heritage Site a few miles from Kathmandu.

Now two from Chinese Maoist websites. These do not translate that well, but well enough. The first is an article from the Mao Zedong Banner Network which sees police repression as part of the same fascist package that is attempting to incite a war with China. At the end it calls for a united anti-fascist alliance around the world and within the United States to resist the Trump administration:

Finally there's an article in Utopia contrasting American and Chinese police, and noting the elderly white man who was assaulted by police in Buffalo and hit his head. The article describes American police as a repressive, cold-hearted machine in the service of capital. The article also criticizes people in China who want police to be more strict -- seeing that as creeping American influence -- as opposed to using their discretion to "resolve contradictions among the people." The article also says that the situation with police in China is improving. I wouldn't know, but a mainlander friend once told me that the 1990s were bad and that police there behaved more like American police at that time with hassling people for no reason and being brutal to people.
