riyl: dean blunt's guitar playing; grouper (but less murky/muddy/mulchy); mediterranean folk music; late period coil, i guess?
hey, this is good. not the sort of thing i usually listen to, but if i turned on nts and this was playing, i'd leave it on.

Flying horse in Saudi Arabia - "Flying horse in Saudi Arabia"
Found out about KMFDM through a very cringe but pretty high school friend a few years ago and I'm on a binge with their albums. Despite the fact that she prefaced it with "it was Dylan Klebold's favorite band" I was not repulsed, he had great taste. KMFDM doesn't have a single bad song.

i am prob going to be doing a similar dive now. the similarities between hill country blues and malian blues jump right out

The best thing about KMFDM was always Raymond Watts. Saw PIG awhile back and it was fun. He was big in Japan
