Or the (E/N) Bitch About Your Job And The Ennui Of Late Capitalism Thread i guess

I do data entry for some university research center 7 or 8 hours a day. They've put me in a small room by myself and set me to the endless task of feeding numbers to the machine. In the next room there's always a few people talking or having a good laugh and it fills me with impotent resentment that I'm excluded from any human interaction for all that time. I complain about it everyday and spend half of the time fucking around on the internet while in fear that I'll get caught and fired, but this lady there works longer and harder than I do to help support her family and I haven't heard her complain once in the year I've been there and I feel even worse about myself for being so whiny.

I work at the airport. If you have sent a package through the UPS air system to the intermountain west at any time in the last sixteen or so months I have probably personally manipulated the canister it was packed in. Its not a very fun job and its in the middle of nowhere (hour and a half bike+train commute, shorter if I drive but thats Gas Money) but I get hours.

well this is certainly how i view britons

I view the Britons as geniuses of parliamentary democracy, defenders of traditional liberty, who have a rich history, including the rise of the democratic socialist movement, of which they have been an inspiring force throughout the world with their Labour Party. I also respect the Queen, who lives in Britain, but is the head of state of Canada.

I meant more in the way where zionists view diaspora jews as weak and flimsy, pale and spindly, while they were (super)men who worked the soil and made the desert bloom! perhaps I needed to specify this viewpoint existed at its height in the Swingin Soviet Sixties indeed before they needed so badly to call up aunt USA for some money
