yeah for some reason this was extremely popular among a niche of french 'academics' during the 70s. tony duvert was somehow exceptionally popular at the time with the existentialists for his quasi-philosophical novels which promoted the sexual liberation of kids

weren't some of the beats and related guys into similar stuff? like ginsberg was a member of nambla and shit like that

what's with the aesthetic of that site though. that logo looks like call of duty ate the colbert report and threw up all over the rug
#5329
That's a military tech porno site. The headline is fine but the deck is terrible: The operation targeted individuals over links to the conflict in Ukraine and also netted various guns and Nazi memorabilia

I don't think the missile is Gladio but notice how the Nazis are just "individuals" with "links to the conflict in Ukraine." If they were on the other side it'd just say: "The operation targeted pro-Russian separatists..." or some equivalent.
#5330
You know they just individually traveled to Ukraine to fight all by themselves, Call of Duty style, with no relation to a particular side fighting there and they all happened to be individually hanging out with a stolen air-to-air missile.

this is exactly how bbc stated it while it was on front page. the article has since been amended.

they left the last part though, qualifying it with "separately".

bbc posted:

Separately, a court in Genoa jailed three men on 3 July who were found guilty of fighting alongside the Russian-backed separatists who control a large swathe of Ukraine's Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

More than 10,000 people have died in fighting since the heavily-armed separatists launched an insurgency in eastern Ukraine in April 2014. Skirmishes with Ukrainian government troops continue, but the frontline has remained generally static for more than a year.

no mention of the coup or right wing element. this reminds me that it was around that time that the bbc disabled comments on their articles by default, as users were pointing out the blatant pro-coup/nazi framing en masse.
