i made an effortpost a few years ago quoting lenin about why i thought it was worthwhile to support bernie while still being somewhat critical, as a necessary step in radicalising people as they realise that socialism that doesn't take radical actions can only fail, arguing that's basically what happened in russia with the two revolutions in 1917. however, the thread consensus was that the KKE were correct, and supporting social democratic candidates is a betrayal of the working class.

was just reading through this thread and stopped to LOL at how you're bothering to tell lies about your own posts and posters owning you simply by repeating what Lenin was saying and the context for it

Hey do you still think that donating to Skyler and Joebert's Bernie Does Dallas drive is the same thing as building a strategic alliance between a communist party and a militant left faction of a social-democratic party in 1910s Europe. Lol.

If people want to start from Lenin's writings as strategy, they are going to have to do two things first, 1) join an Org and 2) learn to eat ass in bed West Slope style.

Bernie: Amazon is bad
DSA: If only Marx could have lived to see this!

Bernie: Drones good
DSA: Remember, he's the compromise candidate

Bernie: Forgive all student debt
DSA: What a GOD

Bernie: I dunno about reparations
DSA: Remember, he's the compromise candidate

Forgiving all student debt is a good idea even in just a policy sense, and I'm kind of sad that it's going down in flames with Sanders after he loses and the Democrat mega brains start writing think pieces about how it can't win Ohio and it's probably racist somehow.

But practically speaking, it's the same thing as "repairing" health coverage in the United States without a government willing to use physical force to shatter the system in place and drive its agents from government for the rest of their lives, in that it's just that getfiscal post about Sanders coming to power and nationalizing the banks and all the bankers saying they disagree but will respect the democratic process. You could drive a bill to "forgive student debt" in the U.S. all the way through both houses and have the president sign it and by the time it reached executive agencies for enforcement, it would be a law that says your remaining debt will be turned over to one of three private buyers and assigned a variable rate per the 60-page 2-point-font contract you sign with them so long as you fly to Syria and shoot a mayor in the head.

Special agent butts announced a plan to make the blacks like him, which is stuff like a blue-ribbon commission to teach United States doctors that it's bad to be racist.

This is pretty much the McKinsey consultant strategy to a tee, where the point of it isn't really to accomplish its goal, it's to argue to other people later on that some sort of doomed semi-good-faith effort has been made to accomplish that goal at some point in the past.

As the Democrat Troop-spook put-on is probably the only story about this entire election that will ever interest me, the finely-honed attention of a hobbyist crank has made me notice a new sleight-of-hand trick being deployed across the board in U.S. media.

The spook's boosters have pretty much given up suggesting he's got any notable support among voters compared to his rivals. Instead, they've started to write their lines on stuff like his I'm-not-a-racist plan in ways that focus completely and totally on the guy's massive campaign spending. The stories on this latest thing are mostly bizarrely optimistic about how the spook's working to "shore up" or "bolster" his support among traditional big-vote groups in Democratic primaries to complement all the cash he's throwing around, as though spending a bunch of money with nothing to show for it—while always managing to squeeze more dollars out of your shadowy financial/consulting-firm fundraisers—were a measure of popular support for a candidate instead of, you know, the exact opposite of that.

I think the guy is probably still the front-runner for the VP spot on the ticket, the George Bush Sr. strategy for political control, which is one big reason why the creeps behind him picked a Wonder-bread gay Troop, because whichever straight white dude runs with his name after theirs can use it to argue that the proper boxes for a 21st-century Democratic ticket have been checked.

And it's not entirely surprising to me that those sorts of backers thought that the spook troop being gay would make him invincible against e.g. people who point out that he used housing inspections to ethnically cleanse the town that elected him mayor, because that's exactly how "diversity" works in those circles. Get yourself a Diversity, doesn't matter which one, and you're covered for the next five years or so.

Since I'm just as much of a pill offline as I am when posting, someone made me think hard about my own shit when they asked me today why I think it's fun to call him Bernard Sanders instead of Bernie, if it's some Dick-&-Bush thing or what.

I think it's because to me, calling social democrat politicians by their campaigns' preferred diminutives is part of the lie that some United States senator with 3 houses is a person like you and me. As a Communist, I believe that authentic socialist leaders go for broke and tell everyone to call them things like Captain Granitedick, and it actually works.

I liked Granitedick in the last election but this time I'm leaning toward Alexandria Electrical World Revolution after watching how she wrang the necks of the imperialist spies caught within the Rapid City Megablocks. Did her father make mistakes? Of course he did. Who doesn't? But considering the changes in the world and the current situation, we shouldn't hesitate to look facts straight in the eye and remember that "it is fear that guards the vineyard." And the imperialists are growing very afraid indeed.

our prime minister has a cutesy nickname (scomo) that almost everyone seems to use and it makes me sick. the cunt is a happy clapper who laughs while thousands perish under his watch for being too poor and/or brown. do not refer to him as would a hollywood gossip columnist

The article is too gay to survive in a liberal magazine like The New Republic, which is a shame because it's the only article I've read in The New Republic in years and I had to read it via an archive site. Oh well. Also Dale Peck poured shit on the New York editor father of one of the Chapo Trap House guys:

He asked how I could hate the New Yorker and I told him that besides the fact that the New Yorker published shitty fiction (plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose), and the only gay fiction it published was assimilationist and boring, there was also the fact that an editor there (Dan Menaker, if we’re naming names) had rejected a story of mine by suggesting in his correspondence with my agent (by which I mean that he wasn’t embarrassed to write this down, let alone worried about repercussions) that psychological problems were preventing me from creating effective fiction. (By the way, fuck you, Dan.)

So many layers of redundancy built into the Democrats this year.

Sanders performs such practiced recuperation, he doesn't even need to be bonafide Ap Lant or win a single primary to train a bunch of young adults to shout down critics to the left that they not-so-secretly agree with. Warren is obviously a Clinton-backer stalking horse to drain the Sanders vote and has even been meeting with Hillary on the DL this campaign season... but "The Common Good"—a spook-speaker's-fee "non-profit" my spam-catcher account joined when I saw them advertised next to some alphabet boy's picture on the street—is still burying that account in quotes from NYT editorials slamming Warren as a hypocrite for funneling old corporate donations from her Senate campaign account to her presidential run even as she claims she rejects those donors. That both 1) suppresses wide-eyed enthusiasm for Warren over Biden from the spook-friendly-Todd-Gitlin-booj-liberal-left and 2) signals to their further-right Democrat counterparts that Warren's got enough cash from the right people, keeping their interest, compound or otherwise, in the primaries if Biden loses too many for the superdelegates to take him seriously after the Democrat enthusiasm gap elected Trump in 2016.

Deeper and deeper it goes: the Democrat debates have featured not one, but two former U.S. "intelligence community" dweebs, one of whom dropped out already and the other of whom is in the low single digits in national polls, but the first is a straight white guy primed to "balance" a Warren, Harris or even a Yang ticket as VP, in the Democrat-check-box-style that's the only reason Biden's in the race now, while the second is a gay white Troop geared to "balance" a Biden or, worst-best case for the spooks, a Sanders ticket in the exact same way. And by drawing huge donations from DC zip codes continuously as their campaigns go nowhere, these two little spooks that can't and their donors have let both "outsider" and "insider" candidates know how to secure the spook "community" super-vote for themselves. They are, after all, the gang a lot of Democrats think should be removing Brand Y from the White House at gunpoint right now.

I wonder if I'll ever see the day again when the Democrats are the slightly less reliable partners the CIA has to strong-arm maybe 10-20% of the time to get what they want instead of a wholly owned-and-operated branch of The Company. On the plus side, we might finally get those new PS4s in the break rooms at Langley.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2019/08/01/kamala-harris-calls-tulsi-gabbard-assad-apologist/1888310001/

"Listen, this is going to sound immodest, but I'm obviously a top-tier candidate, and so I did expect that I would be on the stage and take hits tonight because there are a lot of people that are trying to make the stage for the next debate" Harris told CNN host Anderson Cooper when asked whether she was surprised by Gabbard's attack.

The senator from Calfornia then slammed Gabbard for previous comments she made about Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad, calling her an "apologist" for a man "who has murdered the people of his country like cockroaches."
