Imagine the U.S. government exercising half the restraint Venezuela's has shown, it's almost impossible.

Venezuela's government let a CIA front organization called the "Office of Transition Initiatives" operate in Caracas for nine years before finally shutting it down after a previous U.S.-backed coup attempt, even though they and everyone else knew it was an arm of a hostile government. Today, the government would be fully justified in putting a bullet in Guiado to save lives, and they still haven't done it.

If there were an equivalent to Guiado in the U.S., the White House would have had him shot by "special" thugs, then burned down the building with everyone else inside and claimed it was full of AKs, yellowcake and porn.

Most of those original-hire people got fired because they were unstable and new to Washington and liked to blab to the media about the White House. But I don’t think Bolton really has much of a life outside of staying on message about murdering Persians and so on. Like I can imagine him thinking up rude versions of the names of second-string diplomats from Iran while he brushes his teeth before bed so he’ll have some jokes for the briefing tomorrow.

I also saw today that the United States is so upset by the events happening today it is threatening... sanctions on Cuba. This is like an algorithm. It's operating on auto-pilot at this point. Where's the creativity? Imperialism is like a drug. You get high all the time and it starts to fuck you up really bad. The rest of the world needs to sit down with the U.S. for a chat.

so the Peaceful Protest coup clowns stole and deployed anti-riot armored vehicles and set up 4 high-caliber machine guns on the highway... that'd be pretty violent-sounding if people didn't know their Protest was Peaceful from the English-language news. They're always looking out for us like that, I mean otherwise we'd recognize the Peaceful Protesters as initiating the use of deadly force during the event and the Venezuelan government as forced to respond to protect the Venezuelan people from the Peaceful Protesters' stolen armored vehicles and high-caliber machine guns

I hope he reveals the names of who was talking, so Caracas knows which ones weren't just stringing the coup plotters along on purpose.
