i'll try to make a thread on this next week, but a few starters:

  • there's a bunch of unsolved robberies/murders in delhaize supermarkets in the 80s
  • the investigation on this has been going since that period as well, and there's always been murmurs of the investigation being sabotaged
  • these attacks happened at the same time as the attacks of the CCC, a maoist-inspired terrorist group which was actually funded by belgian state services and (possibly) the cia
  • the major theory is that these two groups were used in a gladio-esque tension strategy to push through militarisation of the gendarmerie, the military part of belgian police at the time
  • the suspects were most definitely also involved with fascist circles

i remember reading somewhere about some alleged connections between brabant killers, ccc and gladio, i wish i could dig that somewhere. also are these unsolved murders in question the brabant killers case? has to be right since it would be hilariously bad if there were two armed (most probably fascist-connected atleast) gangs terrorizing belgium in the name of gladio

haha i'm always trying to radicalise my dad. problem is he's old school worker, tends to get so many overtime hours that places he works get shut down after like 5 years. he acknowledges the total bs that they get golden parachutes and his pensions get curtailed, but he makes so much that he doesn't really get too angry about it. one of my proudest moments (which i may have mentioned before) was one of the few times he was actually out of work for more than a couple weeks, got a call to work and you could hear the excitement on his voice. then all of a sudden he says, nope can't do it, and hangs up. i ask him what the hell and he says he would have had to cross a picket line, and he never would. he's basically always in a union, hence the good money.

my cousin has been asking me about politics a lot since the election since i guess im the family Opinions Guy and i think i accidentally turned him into a quasi-fash blackpill conspiracy theorist by accident. i tell him all the ordinary eye opening things about cops being slavecatchers and Troops being essentially paid hitmen and how the NFL thing is just about military propaganda and the whole russia angle is just sour grapes over ukriane and just in general i patiently worked through every single liberal delusion about hillary clinton and bernie sanders and donald trump but now instead of being a socialist he's just insanely unhinged and bringing up alex jones shit and suddenly im like, oh, this is what happened to william blum
